The latest Samsung phone to feature the Android 2.1 operating system has now been given a price and release date, the Samsung Galaxy S which is also known as the Samsung i9000 Galaxy is the manufacturers highest specification Android phone to date and offers exciting performance and technology.
Powering the new Samsung i9000 Galaxy S is a whopping 1GHz processor, this same chip is found in a number of new top-end models including the HTC Desire, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Samsung Wave and Google Nexus One, it provides fast operation, application load times and deals with multiple tasks quickly and effectively.
The Samsung Galaxy S offers a large 4 inch touch screen which features the new Super AMOLED technology found in th Samsung Wave, this produces outstandingly bright colours with a crisp picture quality which can even be viewed in bright sunlight.
