There are more than 250 programming languages but only few are known and embraced by the market.Every new language mended the loopholes of the existing languages. Its rightly said that necessity isthe mother of invention. Lack of modularity in the ancestors of c made C Language, such hotcake in the industry .So is the platform independency of JAVA that led its undisputed monopoly in the late 90s.
When we talk about the Mobile programming, it is a completely untouched domain. The reason being the secrecy of hardware technology maintained by the mobile manufacturing companies. The companies used to keep the development activities under a close loop. A freelancer could never thought even in his dreams to ever code for mobile applications. The obvious reason being the licensing and contingencies of the existing technologies being used in those days. Such secretive policies of the
companies which were devised for revenue generation and for leading the way towards an undisputed supremacy finally proved to be the last nail on their coffins. A new buzzword from the open source community ANDROID has become the new avatar and a boon to the budding developers.
ANDROID hit the market emphatically and in mere 3 years of its advent, Android apps have captured 50% of the mobile market. Not only its giving a tough fight to stringencies from the competitors but providing a soothing environment for the masses to work and contribute to the development of applications. Today anyone, having a basic know-how of JAVA, can start Android programming and give shapes to the ideas generating in their minds . From mobile games to browsers to Gtalk , Social networking applications to Google Map apps . The field is unlimited and lucrative too . the pool of fresh engineers passing every year in bulks from different engineering colleges in India , remain jobless in spite of hard work. ANDROID paves a smooth way to a bright future , companies are sprouting in Hyderabad and southern hubs of the Indian subcontinent that pays in 6 figures to adept programmers .Being new technology and in such a glaring demand ,the day is not far when universities will introduce ANDROID to their curriculum.
CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Is a renowned organization, unimpeachably providing training on 21 cutting edge technologies since last 9 years. With wide research and Analysis, it has launched an academically tailored program on ANDROID with project . It is getting overwhelming response from the engineering students. Apart from the training at CETPA campus , for 2 day workshops events at college premises, college management, student clubs /societies can contact at CETPA InfoTech, Android has became an obvious choice for budding engineers and proving out to be a gateway to their dreams.

What's Better for Business - iPhone or Android Apps?
The popularity of mobile applications, or apps, has caused businesses of all types to try their hand at the mobile market. Creating a mobile app that ties in with your business can be a smart move, but it's not without some risk. Not only that, but knowing which of the two most popular mobile platforms to develop for can be a tricky decision to make.
Developing a Mobile App - Pros & Cons
Before creating an app for your business, it's important to make sure it's a good investment by weighing the benefits versus the drawbacks.
Pros:
- Provides better customer service, allowing users to access your business directly from their phone.
- Shows your business is modern
- Provides your business with more exposure by essentially advertising your company to anyone that browses the app store on their phone.

Cons:
- Requires a significant investment that may offer your business no additional revenue.
- Highly competitive app market means your app may not be downloaded.
- Very difficult to develop a mobile app that perfectly fits your business.

- Highly competitive app market means your app may not be downloaded.
- Very difficult to develop a mobile app that perfectly fits your business.
The iPhone
Once you've determined that a mobile app is a right fit, you'll have to choose which platform you want to release it on. The iPhone, due to its massive popularity, may seem like an obvious choice. For one, it has a huge install base that loves to download apps. Secondly, your app can be developed to work on any iPhone since they all have the same specifications. It does have its share of problems, however. For one, the iPhone app store is very competitive. The iPhone app store is significantly larger than the Android market, meaning you have less of a chance at competing. Secondly, while growth is high now for the iPhone, the market for Android-based phones is just beginning and growing at an exponential rate.
Android Phones
The main reason to choose to develop an app for the Android market is due to its growing user base. It has a huge install base of potential customers that continues to grow. Secondly, there is less competition in the Android market, giving your app a better chance to shine. Conversely, while the Android market share is widening, it is spread across hundreds of different phones. Making an app that works with all of them can therefore be tricky. Secondly, despite a large market share, the overall number of apps downloaded to Android phones is dwarfed by that of those downloaded to the iPhone. Even with no competition, your app still might not get downloaded.
Conclusion
If you are sure you want to develop a mobile app for your business, you're currently better off developing for the iPhone. It's overall simpler to develop for, it has a large install base, and its users are known to download a lot of apps

Developing Android Applications - Getting a Head Start
Android is a software platform for mobile devices. It has its own operating system, middleware and applications. Other mobile platforms in the market today are Symbian, Apple iOS and Windows Phone 7. Among these platforms, Android received much attention due to its growing market of applications, like Angry Birds and Doodle Jump. So what are you waiting for? Learning Android Development is easy.
I wrote this article for people who already know programming, at least the basics. Android applications are written in Java programming language, so I strongly recommend picking up a few books on Java. So before we start, why Android?
Android offers a very nice application framework, allowing developers to build rich and innovative applications. This enables development to be reusable and enhancement of components. Running on a Dalvik virtual machine, it enables Android applications to be platform independent. Aside from having optimized graphics and database libraries, it also offers a rich development environment for device emulation and debugging.
The goal of this article is to give you a head start with Android application development. So, you can follow these steps and start creating applications right away!
Step 1: Install an IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
Like any other programming languages, you will need an IDE. An IDE is usually software that provides most of the tools necessary for coding programs, like editor, compiler, debugger, etc. I recommend using Eclipse IDE, mainly because it is a very powerful IDE for Java, and it is used everywhere. Another popular choice would be Netbeans.
Step 2: Install Android Development Tools
Developing applications for Android devices will need a specialized set of tools, which are provided by the Android SDK. If you are using Eclipse IDE, just install the Android Development Tools plug in. Using Eclipse is very much preferred for Android application development because of its ease of use.
Step 3: Set Up Android Devices
After developing android applications, you will want to install the application on a hardware device. A more popular choice is the use of virtual devices, so you no longer need to configure hardware devices, everything will be run on your computer. A simple emulation device will help you test your Android application.
Step 4: Create an Android Project
Android projects contain all source codes and resources needed for the application. The project is built into an.apk package that you install to your Android devices.
Step 5: Testing and Debugging
The Android SDK contains various tools for debugging your program, along with emulators that help test your applications with various virtual devices. The Eclipse IDE also comes with a compatible debugger.

The White Apple iPhone 4S Now Has Identical Deals to the Black iPhone 4S
For the first time since Apple introduced the iPhone to the market consumers can choose between either black or white iPhone 4S deals as the manufacturer released both colour schemes at the same time.
With the previous iPhone 4, the white model was not available for a full seven months after the release of the black edition leaving many bewildered customers wanting the newer white edition but unable to buy it as they were still tied to a minimum term contract deal.
This has all changed with the release of iPhone 4S deals for both black and white models being launched at the same time, these pay monthly contract deals are exactly the same for both colour schemes unlike many other rival handsets which ask a premium for a white edition.
We see this with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S2 white which is a full £30 more expensive to buy as a pay as you go phone than the original black edition of the same handset, in the case of the black and white iPhone 4S all deals are matched across both models.
The reason that there is usually a price difference between different colour schemes of the same phone is usually down to what are known as 'exclusive launch periods', this is when a retailer or network secures an agreement with the manufacturer to solely sell a certain colour of a particular phone.
These exclusive release periods usually last no more than 30 days, however some networks have managed to secure complete rights over specific colour schemes as seen with the Midnight Blue Blackberry Curve 9300 from 3 Mobile and the White Sony Ericsson Xperia Play from O2.
With no networks or retailers even being offered exclusive rights to sell either one of the Apple iPhone 4S colour schemes consumers can now enjoy exactly the same deals across all available networks for both models.
As it currently stands, this means that a 16GB iPhone 4S in either colour can be ordered free of charge from just £40.85 line rental on the T-Mobile network, this is the cheapest deal that includes a free handset, competing offers from both Orange and Vodafone offer the iPhone 4S free at £41 whilst 3 Mobile asks for £43 per month.
Both the black and white editions of the latest iPhone cost the retailers and the networks the same wholesale price which is dictating these matching deals across both colour schemes, this is unlikely to change which means that consumers will always have the option of buying either model without any premium to put them off.
Whether you are looking for black iPhone 4S deals or offers for the iPhone 4S White please feel free to pop over to our website to compare all available deals: Phones Limited.

Iphone 4s Review
Sixteen months. 16 long months of waiting. Is the iPhone 4S worth it?
Apple fans have been waiting for the iPhone 5 no doubt. Many were expecting Apple and Steve Jobs to finally deliver the goods at Tuesdays October 4 keynote. But Steve didnt make it (god rest his soul) and Tim Cook made his first media appearance as CEO, and instead released the iPhone 4S.
So is it good, or not? Whats the real story? I submit to you my iPhone 4S Review.
Lets start with the good.
First off, the new dual core A5 chip. Its fast. REALLY fast two times faster than the chip in the iPhone 4 and 7 times faster graphics processing. The game play looks amazing sweet.
The camera has been upgraded also. 8 megapixel, autofocus, face detection for still pictures, and HD video recording up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. OMG!
Battery life has been improved up to 8 hours talk time on the 3G network, 14 hours on the GSM network, 10 hours of video playback time, 40 hours of audio playback, and standby time is clocked at 200 hours (8.3 days!)
Now lets move on to the great.
Voice control ala Siri. According to the Apple website, Siri not only understands what you say, it knows what you mean. It figures out the right apps to use to find the right answer. Then, just like a personal assistant, it answers you. Siri makes phone calls, sends messages, schedules meetings, sets reminders, takes dictation, and more. Siri understands what you say, knows what you mean, and even talks back. Imagine sending Tweets via your voice, or updating Facebook? Apple says that Siri is so easy to use and does so much, youll keep finding more and more ways to use it. Its first generation and will only improve, but wowzers.
Now for the bad.
It is not thinner, and it is heavier than its predecessor.
It doesnt feature a bigger touchscreen thats Android phones have had for at least a year, which Apple consumers have been begging for since kingdom come. Like the original iPhone 4, this model still has the same time 3.5-inch display screen.
Now the ugly.
No SD slot. If I am shooting a bunch of video, I am out of luck when space runs out until I connect to a computer I can sync with to get the videos I shot, out. Why no SD slot? Are you listening here Apple?
This phone also has no access to the high-speed 4G networks. None. How can it not, after all that time? Ugh!
It looks exactly like the iPhone 4. No difference at all. How dull.
The verdict?
Should you buy the new iPhone 4S? It releases October 14 to retail, pre-orders begin October 7. Only you can decide.

5 Great Android Apps for Amazing Video Conferencing
Video conferencing makes our lives easier. Connecting with people from school and business has also been made possible because of video conferencing. In line with this, Android also allows its devices to do just that. In no particular order, here are 5 Great Android apps for Amazing Video conferencing:
1. Qik Video Connect
The Android Qik's interface is different with that of its iOs counterpart. The Android version has four blocks on its screen each representing a certain function with its description. Its functions include Video Chat, Record and Share, Video Mail and Video Gallery. Although the Android version differs with the iOs version in its appearance, both have the same functionality.
Aside from its Video Chat function, another thing which you may find interesting is the Video mail. It's just like the Voice Mail but this time, it uses video. An advantage of the Video Mail is that the quality of the video is better than that of the live video chat since it is pre-recorded. The bad news is that you may not be able to use this service for free after June 1 since they will be charging an annual fee for this service.
With Qik, you can also upload your videos to the web and share them via email and SMS. Although Qik has good features, it may not have the best video chat experience. Right now, however, Qik is one of the best options among Video Conferencing Android apps.
2. Tango
The good thing about Tango is that it allows it users to have a cross-platform video chat. That means you can have a video chat with a friend using an iOs even if you're on Android-very cool indeed! Although Fring has this capability, Tango scores more points when it comes to video quality and ease of use. With Tango, one can also make calls over 3G and 4G networks as well.
Finding your friends using Tango is also made convenient by this app. Tango can search through your Android or iPhone Address book for friends who are on Tango and adds them into the app's contact list. Also, setup of this app is quite easy.
3. Fring
Fring is user-friendly. Its interface is neat and not cluttered. Even a first-time user wouldn't have a problem getting to know the app. Video Quality is good although not as good as FaceTime (iPhone). Its audio still has more room for improvement. The good thing, though, is that it can be downloaded from the Android website for free.
4. Knocking Live Video
Knocking Live Video lets its user share live video from his phone to another one's. This Video-sharing app used to be available only in the iPhone. Now, it's in Android-good news for Android enthusiasts! This is a cross-platform app which means that an Android user can share live videos to a family or friend who's using the iPhone. It's one of the most popular social network apps today and you can download this app for free.
5. Skype
Skype is undeniably one of the best in VoIP apps around. Unfortunately, Android Skype doesn't have video conferencing with the exception of 4G phones. A lot are hopeful though that this service would extend to non-4G phones in the near future.
