While connected to the docking station, your battery life is extended which allows for longer use. The docking station also provides 2 USB 2.0 ports, a headphone audio jack and a 4-in-1 card reader for added convenience.
Something unique about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is the Waveshare Interface. You can connect this tablet to your home network wirelessly. This gives the ability to access and control your PC or Mac with your android tablet. You can stream HD videos or music wirelessly to your network. This feature is great for easily transferring files to and from your PC or Mac without having to mess with more wires.

Asus continues to impress with the much talked about Asus Eee Pad Slider. The tablet will slide into a mini keyboard that will be a battery source and stand for the tablet, giving it a netbook feel. It is expected that the tablet and slider will be sold together unlike the Transformer whose docking keyboard is sold separately. There is no word at time of publishing this article whether Asus will jump from Tegra 2 to the Atom Z670. This slider is expected to be priced competitively and should be another hot ticket for Asus.
Asus Eee Pad MeMo 3D to be a BIG hit

The Apple iPhone 4 - Apple Raises The Bar

When the original iPhone was released by Apple, many existing phone manufacturers were dismissive, arguing that Apple had no real knowledge of the mobile market, and was doomed to failure. Instead, it was the manufacturers who were shown to be ignorant of what mobile buyers wanted, and the huge sales of the iPhone have forced many into imitating Apples plain touchscreen style and icon driven user interface.
The Apple iPhone 4 is the best iPhone yet, and also, quite possibly the best Smartphone as well. Apple has radically redesigned the appearance of the iPhone 4, giving it a sharp, industrial style that looks and feels expensive. The standout feature of the Apple iPhone 4 redesign is the new Retina Display, a 960 x 640 IPS LCD screen that provides the clearest, most detailed screen of any current mobile device.
Besides the new display technology, the Apple iPhone 4 also comes with a much-improved 5 Megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED flash, capable of taking digital-camera quality photo's and recording video in HD. There is also a front-facing VGA camera that is intended for use with the Apple iPhone 4's newest feature, FaceTime, a video-calling technology that allows seamless transition from voice to video calling between iPhone 4's over Wi-Fi connections.
Aside from the hardware upgrades, the Apple iPhone 4 comes with the newest version of the iOS operating system, which features support for multi-tasking, improvements to email, folders and a host of other significant changes. Of course, the Apple iPhone 4 has great music and software support via iTunes and all the games and applications you could want. The latest addition is iBooks, where you can purchase and read a wide variety of electronic books. Improvements in processor speed and battery life complete the package.
Other phone makers could be forgiven for feeling a little bit depressed about the iPhone 4. Just when devices from HTC and Samsung were at last beginning to be favourably compared with the iPhone 3GS, Apple has gone and significantly raised the bar. The new design is magnificent, making most alternative smartphones look pretty cheap and old-fashioned in comparison. The new Retina display technology also puts Apple well ahead of the competition, with web browsing and reading small text all significantly improved on the higher-resolution screen.
The biggest innovation could end up being FaceTime however. For now Apples video-calling service is restricted to Wi-Fi due to carriers concerns about high data usage. Even with this restriction, Apples well thought out implementation will attract plenty of users, especially when eventually the service is extended onto other Apple devices such as the Macbook range.

IMDb Trivia iPhone App Review

I'm a big fan of the first IMDb app. Not that me and my trusty iPhone didn't pwn at the water cooler anyway, but the first IMDb iPhone app opened up a whole new territory of mastery. Well, along comes IMDb's trivia application and upon playing my first round of it, did I finally realize how little I knew about movies trivia all along. The pwnage tables are turned when the final score was added up and I scored at 38%. Obviously I need some practice!
IMDb Trivia App Features
You can choose from five categories of trivia, and each trivia subject has five levels: At the time of this article two more packs "TV Favorites" and "Blockbuster Films" were available for $0.99 each. I haven't bought the other packs, but I've played through the free set about a dozen times now and I haven't come across a repeat question yet.
The IMDb Trivia iPhone app has limited advertising: I always try to mention this when it comes to an app because over advertising really can kill iPhone app games in my opinion. This iPhone app game has limited advertising that isn't obtrusive at all. They don't try to force sell you the two additional packs and other than offering more questions, they don't force you to pay money to make the app work the way it "really should."
IMDb iPhone App Highlights
Multitasking Capability: You can easily start and stop anytime
Questions from Several Different Genres: Including Family Movies, Hollywood Hits, TV Favorites, and Blockbuster films with more categories to be released.
Celebrity Photo Match: Match each of five celebrities with their movie, TV show, or character.
Five different levels of difficulty allow you to gradually crank up the difficulty level.
Multitasking capability: You can easily start and stop anytime.
Movie Poster Match: Match each of five posters with a movie or a TV show.
The Catch a Star Game: Click the five actors/actresses that meet the clue before time runs out to earn massive points!
Chronologically Confused: Arrange four different movie titles in the order that they are released.
Who Said That?!: Match the phrase or quote up with the actor or movie it came from.
Mystery celebrity: Guess who the celebrity is in the blurred photo and get points for how quick you get it done.
My one only gripe about this app is that I often find some of the easy questions quite difficult and some of the more difficult categories quite easy. Maybe that's just my scattered and incomplete knowledge of the movie genre but still, I do about the same across many difficulty levels. For a free iPhone app game you can't ask for anything better though. It works great, looks good, teaches you something and puts enough effort into making the trivia fun to stick around with it. I have a feeling that the IMDb Trivia App will be a big trivia app hit for a long time to come.

How To Put Music On Iphone

How to put music to iPhone is something that a lot of people are going to want to know as the weeks go by. The Apple iPhone is going to be a very popular piece of hardware, and if you'd like to know how to get your favourite songs on it, you'd better read on.
The iPod took the world by storm, and now we have the possibility of a machine which can integrate your on the move entertainment with your cell phone, and even provide access to the internet.
If you are new to the world of hand held entertainment systems, you will probably want to know how to get music from two different sources. You will want to know how to take the music from your own collection and put that onto your new iPhone, and you will also want to know how to access the huge libraries of music available on the internet. You will need a computer to do either of these, but it can be anything fairly recent. From the internet, you can get a software program which will make a copy of your CD music to your hard drive, and then you will need a connecting lead to effect the transfer to your iPhone.
The first step will be to get your existing music transferred. This will not take too long, as the software programs called "rippers" are capable of transferring music at much higher speeds than normal playback. If your hard drive is large enough, you can rip the music from all of your CDs in one go, before transferring it.
The biggest challenge of how to put music to iPhone is with finding reliable sources of music to download from the internet. Many new people get caught in a very dangerous trap, by using P2P sites. These are against the law, and the quality of the downloads is really poor. Often files are not what they are supposed to be, and they can easily contain malware which can be dangerous to your computer. Join a reputable site, where you can pay once for lifetime access, and you will have a completely different experience.
By joining a good site like this, and ripping the tracks from your existing CDs, you will soon find that you have plenty of music to transfer to your iPhone. Connect your iPhone to the computer, use iTunes to make the transfer, and you will learn the last part needed in how to put music to iPhone.
This article should have made it a little easier to get your music onto your Iphone. Check out the links below to see some of the best Iphone download sites.

Apple iPhone 3G Insurance - Is The Extra Cost Worth It?

Communication is everything today. That is why the phone manufacturers have always tried to make phones smarter and faster. In the last few years they managed to do that. Apple was the first company that made smart phones capable of browsing the Internet just like a computer, amongst other features. As time rolled by, more and more advanced phones were released, like the Apple iPhone 3G. But since the price tag is so large on this iPhone, is it worth getting an insurance for it?
Since the iPhone 3G is a very beautiful and expensive phone, it attracts a lot of unwanted attention. Not only that, but the slick design of the phone and its size make it pretty vulnerable to stealing. It can be easily snatched from a pocket as it will slide right out.
The pretty big size of the 3G also makes it very easy to drop on the ground, especially for someone with small hands. And even though Apple claims they are very sturdy phones, I can assure you that dropping an Apple iPhone on the ground will damage it.
When you look at it this way, you would say that it is worth getting an Apple iPhone 3G insurance. But most of us say that things like this will never happen to us. You hear a friend of yours lost his phone, or it got stolen, and you think to yourself that things like that won't be something you will have to worry about.
While that may be true, because not everyone loses their phones, you still have to take this into consideration. If you believe that losing your phone will not be a problem financially or logistically, you don't have to get an insurance. In fact, you shouldn't because even though the monthly rates are low, they still add up to good sums of money every year.
You should get your iPhone 3G insured if you think that you won't afford another if something bad happens to it. Then it will be worth the monthly rates and you can be at ease when something happens to your phone.
Not only that, but there is also a question of age. If you are a grown man with a normal life, than such an insurance might not be needed. But if you are younger and like to party hard and are always on the run, then getting an insurance for your iPhone 3G insurance might not be such a bad idea.
From my point of view, you should only get an Apple iPhone 3G insurance if you believe that you will lose your phone at some point. That way it will be worth the extra cash every month.
IMPORTANT
Don't grab the first insurance you find. There are great companies out there with very good coverage and very low rates.
