Verizon Iphone 4 Cases

Now that Apple and Verizon Wireless have announced the launch date of the new Verizon iPhone 4, the internet has been abuzz as to whether standard iPhone 4 cases will fit this new phone.

Structural Changes to the Phone

There is a new style of antenna on the Verizon iPhone 4 (most likely to avoid the issues associated with the iPhone 4!). As a result Apple has needed to make some structural changes to the body of the phone. These changes involved a slight shift in the location of the on/off and mute buttons, along with a little repositioning of the external antenna.

Apple Introduces the iPhone Universal Case

Initially, it was understood that existing iPhone 4 cases would not fit the new Verizon phone. However, Apple has recently introduced a universal bumper case. The universal bumper case see's the hole for the vibrate button further elongated toward the volume buttons thus accommodating both the AT&T and Verizon iPhone's. So, the good news is that the iPhone 4 universal case styles will fit the new Verizon iPhone 4.

Some Cases Fit Both Verizon and AT&T iPhones

However, there are some existing iPhone cases that will fit both the Verizon and AT&T versions and if you are lucky you may just own one! For example, the Sonix Snap slim case is a classic glove case with one opening for the mute and volume buttons. This will make it compatible with both iPhone versions. Also, leather pouch cases and flip cases should fit both versions of the iPhone 4.

While you might think your phone case choices are limited, iPhone case manufacturers have been busy designing and creating cases customized for the Verizon iPhone. These cases will be available at the time of the release of the new phone, in a variety of styles from which to choose.

Protect Your Phone with a Verizon Case

Of course you will certainly want to purchase a case when you purchase your new Verizon iPhone 4 as cases offer great protection for the phone. A cased phone is cushioned to withstand the impact of drops and bumps to the phone with the end result of having your phone last longer than one that is not in a case. Phone cases also help to reduce scratches and nicks to the phone.

While the main function of phone cases is protection, case manufacturers have the consumers in mind and offer a variety of designs and styles. You also have a choice of materials, such as aluminum, leather, and hard plastic or soft silicone.

You can be sure that you will have a great selection of styles from which to choose when you buy your new Verizon Wireless iPhone 4

Free Apple iPhone Truth

Is it really possible? Can someone actually obtain a free Apple iPhone? The answer to that question is absolutely. You can get an Apple iPhone for free you just have to know where to look. There are plenty of legitimate websites that actually offer free gifts. The trick is once you land on one of these websites you will need to follow some simple instructions. It's a fact that hundreds if not thousands of people actually receive an Apple iPhone free, computers free, free software and tons of other free items every day.
Right now you must be asking yourself why on Earth would anybody be willing to give away such valuable items. The truth is these companies benefit greatly by giving valuable items away for free. A free Apple iPhone is a means to an end for these companies. It helps create a huge buzz about a company and its services. It's called a promotion.
Once you have located such a company there are steps you need to take in order to actually receive an item such as an Apple iPhone free. There are many different sites online that provide such offers, but the trick is knowing where to look. The next thing you will need to do is fill out their registration forms. This is very important. Ensure you fill out the information correctly or you could jeopardize any chance you have of receiving the free Apple iPhone or any other item you are currently eying.
Once you have provided (usually all that is initially required is an email address or zip code) a certain amount of information about yourself, you may be asked to check out a few items the company is offering, possibly even give a review. The trick is to steer clear of anything that requires the use of a credit card. Many such companies will require you to make a small purchase of one or two items in order for you to be eligible to actually receive an Apple iPhone for free or similar product. If you like what they are offering then by all means make the purchase, but if not, don't. The last thing you want to do is spend money on something you don't need, unless of course, it justifies the means.
Some companies may even ask for additional referrals, mostly in the form of your friends email addresses. These could be made up of course. Don't let something as simple as an email address stand in the way of you getting your Apple iPhone free. But make sure the email address you initially provide is your own. If not, you will not be receiving anything. They will surely want to verify your email address at some point to ensure you are a real person and not some scammer.
Well I hope by this time you are excited. Keep in mind that different websites have slightly different rules you'll have to follow, but not to worry most are very easy to do. If you follow their instructions to the letter you should have your free Apple iPhone very soon.

What's Better for Business - iPhone or Android Apps?

The popularity of mobile applications, or apps, has caused businesses of all types to try their hand at the mobile market. Creating a mobile app that ties in with your business can be a smart move, but it's not without some risk. Not only that, but knowing which of the two most popular mobile platforms to develop for can be a tricky decision to make.
Developing a Mobile App - Pros & Cons
Before creating an app for your business, it's important to make sure it's a good investment by weighing the benefits versus the drawbacks.
Pros:
- Provides better customer service, allowing users to access your business directly from their phone.
- Shows your business is modern
- Provides your business with more exposure by essentially advertising your company to anyone that browses the app store on their phone.
Cons:
- Requires a significant investment that may offer your business no additional revenue.
- Highly competitive app market means your app may not be downloaded.
- Very difficult to develop a mobile app that perfectly fits your business.
The iPhone
Once you've determined that a mobile app is a right fit, you'll have to choose which platform you want to release it on. The iPhone, due to its massive popularity, may seem like an obvious choice. For one, it has a huge install base that loves to download apps. Secondly, your app can be developed to work on any iPhone since they all have the same specifications. It does have its share of problems, however. For one, the iPhone app store is very competitive. The iPhone app store is significantly larger than the Android market, meaning you have less of a chance at competing. Secondly, while growth is high now for the iPhone, the market for Android-based phones is just beginning and growing at an exponential rate.
Android Phones
The main reason to choose to develop an app for the Android market is due to its growing user base. It has a huge install base of potential customers that continues to grow. Secondly, there is less competition in the Android market, giving your app a better chance to shine. Conversely, while the Android market share is widening, it is spread across hundreds of different phones. Making an app that works with all of them can therefore be tricky. Secondly, despite a large market share, the overall number of apps downloaded to Android phones is dwarfed by that of those downloaded to the iPhone. Even with no competition, your app still might not get downloaded.
Conclusion
If you are sure you want to develop a mobile app for your business, you're currently better off developing for the iPhone. It's overall simpler to develop for, it has a large install base, and its users are known to download a lot of apps

Google's Android Platform

Software platforms are being increasingly focused on and worked around in order to develop newer and more innovative means of reaching more and more people across networks. The Android is one of these platforms that has been extensively worked upon and developed in order to have robust and unique operation method.
The Android is generally described as an operating system and a software platform that Google developed in order to facilitate improved development of mobile devices. This allows developers to work in their code on JAVA based language that make use of Google-based JAVA libraries. The Android mobile platform encompasses a software stack for mobile devices. It comprises operating systems and key applications. Developing Android Applications - Getting a Head Start

Android is a software platform for mobile devices. It has its own operating system, middleware and applications. Other mobile platforms in the market today are Symbian, Apple iOS and Windows Phone 7. Among these platforms, Android received much attention due to its growing market of applications, like Angry Birds and Doodle Jump. So what are you waiting for? Learning Android Development is easy.
I wrote this article for people who already know programming, at least the basics. Android applications are written in Java programming language, so I strongly recommend picking up a few books on Java. So before we start, why Android?
Android offers a very nice application framework, allowing developers to build rich and innovative applications. This enables development to be reusable and enhancement of components. Running on a Dalvik virtual machine, it enables Android applications to be platform independent. Aside from having optimized graphics and database libraries, it also offers a rich development environment for device emulation and debugging.
The goal of this article is to give you a head start with Android application development. So, you can follow these steps and start creating applications right away!
Step 1: Install an IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
Like any other programming languages, you will need an IDE. An IDE is usually software that provides most of the tools necessary for coding programs, like editor, compiler, debugger, etc. I recommend using Eclipse IDE, mainly because it is a very powerful IDE for Java, and it is used everywhere. Another popular choice would be Netbeans.
Step 2: Install Android Development Tools
Developing applications for Android devices will need a specialized set of tools, which are provided by the Android SDK. If you are using Eclipse IDE, just install the Android Development Tools plug in. Using Eclipse is very much preferred for Android application development because of its ease of use.
Step 3: Set Up Android Devices
After developing android applications, you will want to install the application on a hardware device. A more popular choice is the use of virtual devices, so you no longer need to configure hardware devices, everything will be run on your computer. A simple emulation device will help you test your Android application.
Step 4: Create an Android Project
Android projects contain all source codes and resources needed for the application. The project is built into an.apk package that you install to your Android devices.
Step 5: Testing and Debugging
The Android SDK contains various tools for debugging your program, along with emulators that help test your applications with various virtual devices. The Eclipse IDE also comes with a compatible debugger.

Apple iPhone 4S: Picking Up Where Amazing iPhone 4 Left Off

Improving on something already extraordinary is the kind of thing that Apple likes to do and this kind of challenge drives them to do better. The iPhone 4S mobile phone is the accepted challenge by Apple. Why? Because the iPhone 4 is a groundbreaking mobile phone and since it is an extraordinary phone, they have to make this new model better than before. As a result, the Apple iPhone 4S has gone on to be the number one smartphone in the world and is considered to be one of the best phones they have ever designed.
Apple did what they needed to do and they know just what they are doing. Building on the amazing design and structure of the iPhone 4, the Apple iPhone 4S is its new and improved version. By completely rethinking the inside, the iPhone 4S was born.
Apple started adding the A5 chip which is a dual-core chip allowing the new smartphone to be twice as fast as its predecessor was. The camera was redesigned at 8 megapixels but with an all new optics. The iPhone 4S has the iOS 5, that has almost 200 more applications and the iCloud that lets you store all your photos, videos, applications, messages, contacts, and more.
Siri: Your wish is its command
Introducing the newest feature that will change the way you look at a smartphone: Siri. With it, you will finally have an assistant that answers all your wishes and make your life easier. Siri works with your voice and allows you to send messages, schedule or cancel meetings, place your phone calls, and many more. Unlike any other voice operated applications, Siri understands what you say, what you mean, and it talks back to you. It is easy to use while doing so much for you.
Siri will make you feel like you are having an actual conversation with your iPhone because it answers back. It does not only understand what you are saying, it actually understands what you mean. Siri is proactive so until you find what you need, it will continue asking you.
A5 dual core processor
It is twice as fast and lets you run your application graphics seven times faster. This processor is quick to react and is very responsive. Browsing web, launching applications, gaming and just about anything you want to do with your iPhone has never been this faster and easier. You don't have to worry whether the iPhone 4S will stop doing what you told it to do, because it won't. Moreover, because the A5 chip is power-efficient, its battery life is outstanding. If you are a gamer, you will surely love this new iPhone.
8-megapixel Camera
You might think you are not seeing the real thing because with the camera of this iPhone, pictures do not seem to be taken from a camera phone. Apple took the camera of the iPhone 4 and added another lens for improved pictures and they adjusted the aperture to allow more light for more excellent pictures. Everything you have taken looks exactly the way you have seen it and much more. In addition, the iPhone 4S camera allows you to edit your photos after you have taken it.
Now, that is what Apple calls the most amazing iPhone ever.
There are some decent iPhone 4S deals available online and some pretty good BlackBerry 9900 deals as well.

Five Reasons to Choose an Android Tablet Over an iPad

One of the hottest electronic products this year is clearly the Apple iPad. However these devices clearly lack a lot of desired features (flash, SD card slot, USB port, etc) that Google Android tablets have built in to all there devices. In terms of functionality, features and bang for you buck, an Android tablet is the clear and far away winner.
The top competitor for the Apple iPad right now is any one of a number of Google Android-powered devices manufactured by the likes of Motorola, Samsung, Dell and others. I've done my research and played with a few of the new Android tablets and at this point have decided that an Android tablet is a better choice than the iPad. In fact, there are a number of Android tablets coming out of China that can be had for a mere $100. These devices are every bit as good as the branded models and then some. Here are my top five reasons to choose one of these Android tablets over an iPad:
1. Choice of Size
The Apple iPad is closest in size to a 10×8 picture frame with its dimensions at 9.56 x 7.47 x.5 in. There are no other size options for the iPad, unless you're of the opinion that the iPad is merely a giant iPhone, and in that case the iPhone could count as a smaller version.
Unlike the iPad, the various Android tablets come in a range of sizes. The sizes include 5-inch, 7-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch. The 5-inch tablets are admittedly just slightly larger than popular touchscreen smartphones, which tend to top out in the 4-inch range. But if they make them, there's obviously some kind of market for them. You can go bigger or smaller than the iPad with an Android.
2. True Multitasking
Apple has avoided true multitasking on the iPad primarily due to battery life and performance concerns, the reason they always leave off features on their new iPhones as well.
There are already some Android tablets running off dual-core processors, which have more than enough power to handle true multitasking. The multitasking panel is also extremely easy to navigate.
Apple should have figured out how to deliver true multitasking.
3. Cameras
Apple made a huge mistake in not including a camera on the iPad. At the very least it should have included and outward facing camera, but if it really wanted to be a winner, it would have also had a second, front-facing camera that users could use for video chatting.
Most Android tablets have inward cameras for video chatting. Google's native camera app also has some nice features that will let you alter your image, without having to download and edit it on your computer.
4. No Syncing Required
Whether you own an iPod, iPhone, or an iPad, you must sync the device with iTunes using a computer to transfer downloads purchased on your computer to the device. It's a royal pain, but it's Apple's way of keeping their users coming back to iTunes. It's also a very slow process.
With the Android Market Web Store, you can buy apps on your computer and send them to your device without syncing. Brilliant!
5. Replaceable Batteries
One of the things that irked me most about the iPhone and the iPad was the battery. It's not removable, and if it goes, you have to get a whole new device. If yours breaks and still happens to be under warranty, Apple will send you a new one - for a fee. For the iPad, if the battery goes, you can send in your old one and they'll send you a new one for $99. Oh, and make sure you synced it before it died because when they send you out the new one it won't have any of your apps or personal information on it. If you forgot to sync, you're S.O.L.
Android devices have their own batteries which are replaceable. If the battery goes, you just buy a new one. Or if you're under warranty, the manufacturer can send you a new one without having to bother with taking your entire tablet.
Other Amazing Features of an Android Tablet
-As mentioned above all Android tablets have flash for video as well as SD Card slots for expandable memory (typically up to 32GB). Most usually have USB ports as well for storage or for external devices.
-Android Marketplace has a huge selection of Apps with 50% of them being free! Most other apps can be purchased for a nominal fee of between $1 - $3.

The White Apple iPhone 4S Now Has Identical Deals to the Black iPhone 4S

For the first time since Apple introduced the iPhone to the market consumers can choose between either black or white iPhone 4S deals as the manufacturer released both colour schemes at the same time.
With the previous iPhone 4, the white model was not available for a full seven months after the release of the black edition leaving many bewildered customers wanting the newer white edition but unable to buy it as they were still tied to a minimum term contract deal.
This has all changed with the release of iPhone 4S deals for both black and white models being launched at the same time, these pay monthly contract deals are exactly the same for both colour schemes unlike many other rival handsets which ask a premium for a white edition.
We see this with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S2 white which is a full £30 more expensive to buy as a pay as you go phone than the original black edition of the same handset, in the case of the black and white iPhone 4S all deals are matched across both models.
The reason that there is usually a price difference between different colour schemes of the same phone is usually down to what are known as 'exclusive launch periods', this is when a retailer or network secures an agreement with the manufacturer to solely sell a certain colour of a particular phone.
These exclusive release periods usually last no more than 30 days, however some networks have managed to secure complete rights over specific colour schemes as seen with the Midnight Blue Blackberry Curve 9300 from 3 Mobile and the White Sony Ericsson Xperia Play from O2.
With no networks or retailers even being offered exclusive rights to sell either one of the Apple iPhone 4S colour schemes consumers can now enjoy exactly the same deals across all available networks for both models.
As it currently stands, this means that a 16GB iPhone 4S in either colour can be ordered free of charge from just £40.85 line rental on the T-Mobile network, this is the cheapest deal that includes a free handset, competing offers from both Orange and Vodafone offer the iPhone 4S free at £41 whilst 3 Mobile asks for £43 per month.
Both the black and white editions of the latest iPhone cost the retailers and the networks the same wholesale price which is dictating these matching deals across both colour schemes, this is unlikely to change which means that consumers will always have the option of buying either model without any premium to put them off.
Whether you are looking for black iPhone 4S deals or offers for the iPhone 4S White please feel free to pop over to our website to compare all available deals: Phones Limited.

Android RPG Games

Mobile phones have gotten fancier over the years. First the developers added cameras, the internet and now most smart phones can now play video games. They're not budget games like Snake or Tetris either. Smart phones are able to play video games that have the same quality that portable gaming devices produce.
One of the most recent smart phones released is Sony's Xperia Play. Xperia Play has been dubbed as the world's first PlayStation certified phone. Not only is it a phone, but it can double as a portable gaming device. The controls are very similar Sony's other products such as the PSP and the PS3 controller just to name a few.
This means you can finally play PlayStation-style video games with the comfort of a real control scheme. There is nothing more uncomfortable than playing games on your phone using the horrible numbered keypad. The most pleasant thing about the Xperia Play is that some PlayStation Classic games will be heading their way onto the system very soon.
Although there have not been any RPG PlayStation games available yet, it's more than likely that Square Enix will release some of its Final Fantasy games onto the platform. Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX have all been ported to Sony's PlayStation Network. The thought of putting Final Fantasy VII (the most popular RPG ever made) on the Xperia Play could help Sony take a hold of the market dominated mostly by Apple.
Zenonia 2 is an old-school 16-Japanese RPG much like the older Final Fantasy games from the early '90s. The 2D graphics are cute and the game itself is one of the better RPGs available on Android phones. Although the game is heavily inspired by Japanese RPGs, it's actually made in Korea. Nevertheless, I'm sure it's a game RPG fans will love playing.
Gurk is a game that will be liked from gamers who grew up in the '80s. It's an old-school style video game that is only a mere 100KB to download. Despite Gurk's very old style of graphics, it's still in color and a blast to play. There are 24 levels in all and a total of 23 monsters for you to find and kill. Gurk won't be a game liked by modern gamers, but if you grew up playing the original Nintendo game system, you will fall in love with its old-school style of gameplay.
Another RPG game available on Android phones is Dungeon Defenders: First Wave. The game is an online cooperative action-RPG much like Torchlight and Baldur's Gate. The game is free to download for most phones. The graphics are in full 3D and looks stunning for a game that costs nothing to download. Up to four players can play together online. It may be clichéd and borrows elements from most other RPG games, however its visuals and multiplayer is what makes it quite fun.
Whether you own an Xperia Play or not, there are tons of RPG games to explore on Android phones. Quite a few of them are free to download, so there's no excuse for you not to play any of the games here on offer. Let's hope Square Enix brings more Final Fantasy games to the Android market as that will certainly boost the popularity of the genre.
If you're want to play Android RPG games then you have found your perfect place. Spend fun hours while playing Free online RPG games.
