new iphone hd

The feature studded iPhone 4S has been launched by Apple to offer users enriching set of functionalities. Apart from scaling up the processor to A5 dual core and rear camera to an 8 MP the talk of the town is the scaled up HD video recording. The end users will be able to record movies in high resolution mode in 1080 pixels. However, in order to convert the captured videos to movies the users will need to download the iMovie app from the App Store. The app allows users in adding thump to the created video such as adding effects or custom music too. The created HD movies can then be uploaded to YouTube or shared with friends in real time without any constraints at all.

To Apple's advantage none of the competing Android or Blackberry models support the feature of recording movies in HD mode at such high resolution base. The end users will cherish the ability of focusing in background or foreground with equal depth. As a result, the users will be able to transform their fond memories into most memorable ones using the iPhone 4S platform. Apple loyalists have been anticipating for the high end iPhone variant eagerly. A newer design might have boosted Apple's sales but no one is taking away the scaled up features on the iPhone 's new variant. The HD quality movies on new iPhone 4S are here to entice you. So get going and look to leverage from it without any second thoughts.
The users who were planning to buy a handy cam on this thanksgiving will probably be better off buying an iPhone 4S. The digital camera makers such as Nikkon, Sony and Samsung are already under the reeling pressure from the threat imposed by iPhone. The scaled up 1080 pixels will aide users in recording videos and moving pictures with sheer impact.
Apple boasts that users will be able to capture bright and picture perfect videos with their new iPhone using the intrinsic 1090 pixels HD recording accompanied with LED flash. The maker has embedded stronger power LED flash on rear that can help users in capturing clear, sharper and brighter pictures even when the surrounding light is dim. In order to enable the LED flash light in video recording mode the users will be required to install third party LED apps. These can enable it to function like a flashlight on the fly.
There is no match of the HD video captures on Apple when compared with Android or other gadgets. The users of iPhone 4 have already experienced the 720 pixels HD video recording and the higher resolution base will offer streamlined usability experience to the end users. The scaled up HD recording will certainly offer to users who often record videos on their phones. Media folks and photographers are looking firmly on the HD recording capabilities of iPhone 4S. However, only the actual user reviews and recorded video quality will help users in knowing if it's really worth it.

transfer apps to new iphone

If someone you know also has an iPhone, you may want to trade for certain applications the have. Instead of buying these often expensive apps, you can simply transfer an application from one iPhone to the other. Using iTunes and a few quick and easy steps, you too can transfer applications to your computer and then to another iPhone.
The process for transferring apps from your iPhone to another iPhone is very simple. The ability to transfer apps allows you to copy apps to your wife's, child's or friend's iPhone so that they can use the applications without having to pay for them. This process involves transferring the apps from your iPhone to a computer and then from the computer to the target iPhone.

To transfer the apps from your iPhone to computer, open up iTunes library. The iTunes library The library from the target iPhone should be the one that is being opened. If you use the iTunes that belongs to your PC or Mac, it will produce error. To authorize iTunes to access your account information, you should select Store > Authorize Computer. When the Authorize Computer dialog box appears, enter your Apple ID and password. If you have authorized more than five computers, it will notify you. To deauthorize a computer, go to iTunes and select Store > Deauthorize Computer. After that, connect the iPhone which contain the licensed apps to the iTunes. Next, right click on the iPhone icon in iTunes and select Transfer Purchases. The iPhone informs you that the transfer is in progress by showing the message "Sync in Progress". You will also see the files copying in the window of your iTunes menu. The transfer process can take some time depending on the number of purchases you have on your iPhone. When the transfer is completed, eject your iPhone from iTunes.
To transfer the Applications to another iPhone, connect the iPhone (the iPhone which you want to have the files transferred) to the computer. Under the Applications tab, check the applications which you want to transfer to this particular iPhone. Finally, you should click on the Sync button that located at the bottom to begin the application transfer process to this iPhone.

Which Strength of Android and iPhone Would Work in Its Favour?

Android and Apple are two names that are most popular when it comes to smart phones. The two phones have different operating systems each having its own strengths and weaknesses.
For iPhone applications development App store is a convenient platform for the distribution and sales of applications. Android application development is also progressing but it still has a long way to go to come anywhere close to where iPhone stands. The app stores have great significance as far as end-users and the developers are concerned.
Having said that the Android market should not be taken too lightly as the pace with which it is growing, it can pose a serious concern for iPhone market. Apple's operating system is a closed one. The applications developed have to go through checks before they are accepted by the App store. The screening process can discourage the developers as the decision if the application can be sold rests with the App store authorities.

The procedure has both positive and negative aspects. The Google Android market offers an open system that means applications can be directly published. The platform provides easier access for the developer community to take their application to the market hence many developers might opt for this platform. Being open it may provide more applications therefore more variety and diversity.
However more variety and diversity does not necessarily means more quality. The point that works in favour of Android is also the one that has a disadvantage attached to it for the users. The users have to sort out from the junk as there are all kinds of applications available.
With iPhone the user has the comfort of knowing that the applications have gone through a screening process and only applications that have fulfilled the quality criteria are available. The Android market community ratings and comments section provide some help in this regard to judge which applications are poor.
The amount Android charge from developers is much less than what iPhone does. Android platform's lower cost makes it easy for the developer to make a start. The iPhone charges more for an application to be launched and with it is also comes the uncertainty that if the application gets rejected it would not mean refund of the initiation fee.
Both the platforms have their own points but it remains to be seen which strength would in the end prove to be the winning strategy for the two operating systems. Although much is being predicted for both the iPhone application development and Android application development sector, it is the statistics that would have the final word.

iphone at&t

Both the iPhone and the Tilt are AT&T smartphones (at least in the United States), however, the overall main difference between the iPhone and the AT&T Tilt, according, at least, to the way the two devices are being marketed, is that the iPhone is being targeted more towards the consumer-user and the AT&T Tilt towards the business-user. Both smartphones, however, have excellent qualities appealing to both types of users.
Both the AT&T Tilt and the iPhone are touch screen smartphones, though the iPhone touch screen can be controlled by your fingers whereas controlling the AT&T Tilt touch screen requires using the included stylus. Beyond the touch screen, the iPhone has a single multi-purpose navigator button while the AT&T Tilt has several additional buttons.
Unlike the iPhone, the AT&T Tilt sports a unique screen design that allows users to slide out a full QWERTY keyboard from behind the main casing and tilt the display upwards so the user can view and control the phone similarly to the way one would a laptop or PC. The iPhone is a single candy bar unit with no sliding parts, though both the iPhone and the AT&T Tilt can be turned sideways for a widescreen view of the display screen as an alternative to the standard portrait.
The weaknesses of the feature-rich iPhone are in the way of the basic, essential functions of a smartphone - call quality and speed of the data network. Even though the AT&T Tilt uses the same EDGE data network as the iPhone, the Tilt has a wider array of wireless options available, including access to the 3G network, a feature the current generation of iPhone's cannot claim (though a 3G iPhone is reportedly in the works). Also, according to a perusal of online customer feedback, the Tilt also boasts superior call quality over the iPhone. Having said that, however, the iPhone has up to 480 minutes of talk-time whereas the max talk time on the AT&T Tilt is only about half that.
In the way of features, the digital camera on the AT&T Tilt is 3.0 megapixels while the iPhone's is only 2.0 megapixels. The Tilt includes a GPS but the iPhone does not. The call history on the Tilt is more substantial, indicating talk time duration and other details not available in the iPhone's call history. Likewise, the Tilt displays a distinction between calls received and calls made whereas the iPhone does not. The processor on the AT&T Tilt is significantly slower than that of the iPhone, with a much higher tendency to freeze up and necessitate a reboot. The iPhone has a much larger built-in storage capacity (at 4-8 GB) while the AT&T Tilt can only hold 128 MB.
The major sweeping difference between the two devices is that the iPhone runs on Apple's Mac OS X while the AT&T Tilt runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, which is tantamount to the difference between any Mac PC or laptop and the equivalent Windows PC or laptop. So the AT&T Tilt offers users, for example, the full Windows Office Mobile suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) while iPhone users benefit from all the innovative software resulting from the newly issued iPhone SDK (software development kit). The bottom line here is that, since most computer-users classify themselves as either Mac-people or Windows-people, the decision as to which device is "better" really boils down to one's personal preference between Mac and Windows.
The AT&T Tilt sells for at least $100 less than the iPhone.

Will Your iPhone 4 Case Fit The Verizon iPhone?

Apple and Verizon recently announced the launch of the much awaited iPhone for the Verizon network. This new iPhone, whilst looking exactly the same as the iPhone 4 has had a couple of minor changes made to it. What do these changes mean for those people wanting to purchase accessories for their new Verizon iPhone, and in particular for those people wishing to move from the AT&T network to Verizon?
Differences Between the iPhone 4 and the New iPhone for the Verizon Network
First, let us look at the changes that Apple have made to the Verizon iPhone. According to a number of blogs and websites the new iPhone is exactly the same as the iPhone 4 except for a minor repositioning of the external antenna and the slight relocation of the Mute and On/Off buttons. The antenna changes have resulted in the repositioning of the gaps between the external antennas (a new gap has appeared just above the Mute button) and the volume buttons, whilst still on the left hand side, have been moved ever so slightly down the phone (presumably to accommodate the antenna change).
Can You Use iPhone 4 Cases on the Verizon iPhone?
Most likely not is the simple answer. Whilst the repositioning of the external antenna will probably have minimal impact the relocation of the Mute and On/Off buttons will. Most of the cases being designed and manufactured at the moment are precision made and therefore have been designed to exactly fit the external features of the iPhone 4.
The slight change in the positioning of the external buttons will mean that cases designed for the iPhone 4 will not fit the new iPhone designed for the Verizon network. In particular iPhone 4 cases that have separate holes for the Mute and On/Off buttons will certainly not fit the Verizon iPhone.
iPhone 4 cases that have a full opening to accommodate the Mute and On/Off buttons may fit the new iPhone however, do not be surprised if the case does not fit perfectly. Owners of leather pouches and flip-cases looking to purchase the Verizon iPhone should be unaffected.
When Will the New Cases be Available?
A number of iPhone case suppliers have announced that they will be modifying their iPhone 4 case designs to take into account the subtle changes. These cases will be available from 11 February 2011 to coincide with the release of the much anticipated Verizon iPhone.
If you are about to purchase the Verizon iPhone, or are moving from the AT&T network to Verizon, then check out GET iPhone Case for a wide range of Verizon iPhone cases and other accessories.

Android SDK Variations Cause Development Problems

All that is gold doesn't necessarily have to glitter. Android has been touted as being one of the next big platforms that would knock iPhone of its throne. However, this doesn't seem to be the situation for Android. The ultimate problem that the platform is currently facing is the number of versions of software on phones. With a whole slew of releases available for the Android platform, many apps are not necessarily backward or forward compatible with the operating system. Add to this the various vendors providing different phones with numerous variations of hardware components means that most developers have nightmares developing code for each individual phone rather than a universal app.
The problem inherently in this situation is that cross-platform independence regardless of hardware is an ideal utopia that developers want but can never get. Similar to the BlackBerry situation where porting apps from other platforms is a nightmare, it can happen but not without a significant fight.
From a smaller developer viewpoint, Android is a difficult platform to work on. The amount of resources and time needed to code for a single application is significant for a small business; the need to re-code for various hardware and software versions is not conducive to building a customer base. Not only do variations in hardware and software affect the overall compatibility of the app, it reflects poorly on the build quality of the app. As a result, customers are naturally wary of the platform when they experience poor app quality and interaction. Developers are then compelled to write quick-and-dirty patches to resolve problems, which is inherently dangerous and shoddy programming.
Google needs to address this issue carefully. There are a number of underpowered phones that are running Android version 1.5 to extremely high-end powerful phones with the latest version of 2.0 available. The inability of versions to run compatibility backwards or forwards mean that apps available on either version will only run on versions that are exactly the same as theirs.
The iPhone countered this via the launch of new phones along with the compulsion to use the iTunes interface to ensure that the phone software was up-to-date. Draconian and controlling as it may seem, Apple has hit a massive homerun with the iPhone because they have managed to control the entire experience of using the iPhone. Since customers only know one experience, Apple can easily run damage control when software or malicious threats arise.
Emulators would be the next logical step to ensuring that apps run across all platforms and hardware, however, the very nature of an emulator is to provide something akin to the real experience. There is always a cost of using an emulator; it may never really reflect how apps interact with the phone's hardware and software. Resultantly, the developers are still left in a lurch how to deal with the variations.
Google needs to provide some means of standardizing the software available on all hardware or provide some form of an interface that would at least help users and developers diagnose problems with their Android-compatible phones. The logical assumption would be a web-based interface that lets users download from a central location similar to iTunes. Android's Marketplace has the potential to become this point, however, it would need to be flawlessly designed and integrated with all hardware. With the specialist technology that Google has recently acquired, it would make sense that the Marketplace may receive a revamp that may provide an interface for phones to remain updated via Google.

Viber Android Application

Viber is a well-known application for making VoIP Calls through the iPhone and iPad. Now decided to cover more ground by exporting its application to the Google Operating system.

Android  users are lucky. Viber is a most downloadable application from iTune, so far allowed to make calls through iPhone, very soon will be a available for mobile phones that have android operating system. Few months ago we have discussed about making Viber free calls from iPhone and also learned to store users personal data through its service. The fact is that now,
company had decided to develop a brand-new application fully compatible with Android Phones.

According to sources, the company had decided to launch its android application in the month of march. This the only application that can compete with the father of VoIP telephony i.e. Skype. Launching a application in-front of the competitor like Skype, is such a courageous act and which is admirable. According to the explanation come though the Viber team, Viber for Android will be available shortly for testers, and very soon will have the the opportunity to download the application through the Android Market. This version will be available for free download.

The truth is that we are in March and for the moment there is no signs of launch, or any leak that tell us exact date when Viber will be made available to the Android users. Some leaks from the formal setting confirm that application can be downloaded late this March or early April. Viber also extend the functions of this application by allowing users to send free SMS messages. Viber developers are also working to export this application to Blackberry devices, thus became the VoIP application with more extension. Also, after the launch of android application will reach Symbian or Windows Terminal Phone. Now android phone users have the opportunity to take the advantage for vibera free calls over 3G or Wi-Fi network. We will tell all relevant developments and announce their availability as soon as possible. To get the more information about Viber iphone application visit its official website Viber.com .

Get Free iPhone Games

Do you get free Iphone games downloads or do you pay for them? It seems that the Iphone owners of the world can be roughly split into two halves, people that get free games, and people that don't. The fact is, if you really search you can find plenty of places to download Iphone stuff much cheaper than Itunes, if you know where to look...
No-one can deny the popularity of the Iphone in today's gadget crazy world-whether you need to use it as a regular cellphone or if you just want to use it to listen to music and play games etc, the Iphone can do whatever you need. If you'd like to find out more about where to get these games, check out these resources:
Get Free Iphone Games- 1
The most obvious way to is to simply run a few Google searches for the words "get free Iphone games" or something like that. Seems like a great idea at first, but when you start to visit the sites you'll start to notice a definite pattern. The kind of sites that you can find that easily make all their money from advertising, which is why when you go to them you will just see lots of popups and all sorts of other kinds of sparkly stuff dying for you to click on it. As we said, these guys really have no interest in helping you get free Iphone games, they are just there to make money from the advertisers. You won't find anything of use there, so if you find a site like that, just leave it alone.
Get Free Iphone Games- 2
The "free" sites. The reason I call them "free" sites is that these guys will claim they'll let you get free Iphone games and can offer you all the latest downloads etc, only when you get there you'll see that there is very little in the way of free games to download-there'll be one or two games available to download, and when you try to download them you'll find that the download speeds are attrocious, and that the games will be very very old to boot. Again, sites like this really don't care about the service they provide, they are simply there to make money from the advertising.
Get Free Iphone Games- 3
The other obvious place, the place which most people turn to to get free Iphone downloads is the torrent/P2P sites. It seems that everyone is familiar with a couple of sites like this, but they really are the very worst kind of site to be associated with. Not only is it illegal, but they can also cause damage to your computer because of all the viruses/malware that people upload to there. Everyone knows what this stuff can do to your poor computer, but imagine the effect of passing it onto your Iphone? Is it really worth that trouble just to get free Iphone games?
Get Free Iphone Games- 4
The best places to get free games and other Iphone downloads are by far the newer type of site that have started springing up recently. These sites are excellent, and for once provide a decent service. The way it works is that they maintain a huge database of downloads for your Iphone-everything from games to music to movies to music videos and TV shows etc. In order to get access to this, you would need to pay them a one off fee to guarantee your membership. The fees are very reasonable, usually something like $40 or so, and that sets you up for life. The downloads are usually unlimited, and also at a very high speed too, so it doesn't take too long before you have gotten far more than a $40 value. These are my download sites of choice, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to fill up their Iphone in record time.
Getting free Iphone games, music or anything else for that matter is very simple once you know where to get it from and how to do it legally. Check out the links below for some of the best sites.

Apple iPhone 4 Goes 8GB As iPhone 4S Is Released

Apple look to be following a trend when releasing a new iPhone into the market, as with the previous release of the iPhone 4 when the company then released a new and cheaper 8GB version of their 3GS model they have now done exactly the same with the current iPhone 4.
Consumers can now buy a cheaper version of the iPhone 4 with a cut down 8GB of internal memory which is now being sold alongside the original 16GB and 32GB models as Apple release their new iPhone 4S smart phone to the world.
The new 8GB iPhone 4 looks exactly the same as the others in the range and also packs in the same great features, technology and operating system, the only difference is in the size of the memory and of course the price which will please many who could not afford one of the bigger models.
Surprisingly, the release of the new iPhone 4S has left many consumers with a real problem, as the new 4S also looks exactly the same as the previous model nobody will know from simply looking at the exterior of their phone which model they have invested in.
This actually plays right into the hands of the new iPhone 4 8GB as it is now officially the cheapest in the range and with budgets tight in these tough economic times is already seeing sales volumes soar.
Lined up together, the iPhone 4S and 4 8GB mirror each others exterior looks in both black and white colour schemes, it is not until the user swipes the screens of the phones and they reveal their technology that the differences become obvious.
The new 4S uses the new iOS 5 operating system which gives a completely different look and feel to the user interface whilst being powered by the same dual core A5 processor found in the iPad 2 which makes the 4S twice as fast as the iPhone 4.
Further differences are found in the camera area which has been upgraded from the 5.0 mega pixel sensor of the iPhone 4 to an 8.0 mega pixel lens on the new 4S, there have also been further improvements in the sensor itself which now lets in 70% more light for cleaner, sharper and higher quality imaging.
Other differences between these two models include the new 'Siri' voice software of the 4S model and access to iCloud which can store files and information away from the phone which frees up extra memory.
So, when it comes to choosing between the iPhone 4 8GB and new 4S models they may look the same but they are very different beasts on the inside although price could win the day.

iPhone 4S Deals Too Expensive?

UK mobile phone shops, retailers and networks are slowly releasing their new iPhone 4S deals onto the market after what many consumers are now saying was an Apple launch event that did not quite live up to expectations.
Following rumours across the internet on blogs, forums and industry websites about the launch event held last to release a brand new Apple iPhone 5 its was the iPhone 4S that was showcased and sporting the same housing and looks of the existing iPhone 4 left many disappointed.
Now that iPhone 4S deals are starting to emerge we finally get to see just how much the latest Apple product is going to cost and as with all new releases from the manufacturer this is no cheap deal.
Although SIM free prices have yet to be released by the specialist importers and providers in the UK, Apple have themselves now started to take pre-orders for their new device and with a price tag of £499 for the cheapest 16GB edition rising to £699 for the new 64GB model the iPhone 4S is one expensive piece of kit.
So what do you get for your money and are iPhone 4S deals too expensive?
Well, compared with the previous iPhone 4 16GB the new 4S is twice as fast thanks to the inclusion of the very same A5 dual core chip found in the Apple iPad 2, the camera is reported to be twice as fast as that of the competing HTC Sensation XE although offers the same 8 mega pixel resolution and matches its other big rival; the Samsung Galaxy S2.
All three of these new smart phones offer a fast, dual core processor and 8MP camera but both the Galaxy S2 and Sensation XE are far cheaper to buy.
The new iPhone 4S does offer some new technology which is found under a different guise in the two Android phones is supposedly far superior, this is the voice recognition software which in the Samsung and HTC models is Google Voice and in the new iPhone is called 'Siri'.
The new Apple iPhone also trumps both models with a 64GB model and also includes the new iCloud feature which lets the user store files such as music, video and pictures remotely freeing up even more memory.
As a quick price comparison on the far more popular contract deal rather than as a SIM free device, the cheapest current iPhone 4S deal is on Orange with an independent retailer at just £20 per month, however this package demands an upfront cost of £179.99.
Compare this with the new HTC Sensation XE at the same contract price and the upfront cost drops to £109 whilst the Samsung Galaxy S2 is only £99.
Even a quick comparison against the previous iPhone 4 which has now been released in a new, lower 8GB edition shows us that the new 4S is a very expensive phone as it also retails at £99.
Apple fans will however claim that if you want to own the best then you have to pay for it but for many these prices might just be a bit too steep and instead opt for the iPhone 4 which has now been heavily discounted.

Two Stylish New Handsets - The iPhone 4S And The HTC Rhyme

There is no question that the iPhone 4S from Apple and the new HTC Rhyme are two of the most attractive smartphones currently available. Their slim design together with various colour options will make these two devices a certain hit with consumers everywhere. Here we take a look at how these two stylish handsets compare in terms of specification.
The key difference between these two models is the operating systems that they both employ. The iPhone 4S employs the superb new iOS5 platform developed by Apple. This OS presents us with a familiar interface that we know from previous iPhones but with many improvements. A new notifications centre is a simple way to keep us updated with information from a variety of applications and programs whilst the new lock screen enables user to launch directly in to camera mode. Obviously these are just two updates but it does show that the developers at Apple have carefully considered what the public want from their devices. The HTC Rhyme runs on the Android platform and boasts version 2.3.4 of the system. Items such as a notifications centre are already present on Android but the platform does offer the excellent Sense user interface which includes some great user friendly features such as Friend Stream. This excellent feature collaborates your social networking accounts together in one place to make viewing and posting updates fast and simple. Another advantage of Android is that it enable Flash files to be played which means browsing the web on your phone is a much more satisfying experience. Whilst iOS5 remains simple to use Android is undoubtedly the most visually appealing of the two operating systems and for every consumer who loves the Apple platform another will be equally as attracted to Android.
In the power department the iPhone 4S definitely holds the upper hand. This is the first iPhone to incorporate a dual core processor which is part of the same chipset that was used in the excellent iPad 2. This chipset features the 1Ghz ARM Cortex A9 processor as well as a very powerful PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphics processing unit. This set up brings the iPhone 4S in line with the fastest handsets currently available. The HTC Rhyme offers a more modest processor in the form of a single core 1Ghz Scorpion processor together with an Adreno 205 GPU. Although the iPhone 4S eclipses its rival in this area it is worth remembering that the Apple device is a premium smartphone where as the Rhyme is a mid range device aimed at people looking for a more wallet friendly price. Extensive camera features are offered on both of these models with the iPhone offering a higher photo resolution of 8 million pixels compared to the 5 million available on the HTC Rhyme. High Definition video capture is available on both of these models with the HTC offering 720P and the Apple capturing footage at the highest possible resolution of 1080P.
Although the iPhone 4S outshines the HTC Rhyme in most departments both models will appeal to different types of consumer. The Apple will attract consumer looking for top specification regardless of cost whilst the HTC will be at a more attractive price point thanks to the sacrifice of some quality.
