iphone new update

For the thousands of consumers who bought an iPhone 4 and have recently learned of the new iPhone 4S release but cannot buy the new phone as they are still committed to their existing contract there has been some good news.
Apple have just released their new iOS5 software allowing existing iPhone 4 users to update their phone with over 200 new features that will come as standard on the new iPhone 4S.
These include the new iCloud service which is able to sync photos, music, contacts, apps, documents and calendar with any other Apple devices such as the iPad 2 that the user owns, initially on sign up the user is allocated 5GB of space which can be upgraded to 10, 20 or even 50GB directly from their iPhone 4.

Another new service introduced with the iOS5 is iMessage which is very much like the existing Blackberry Messenger service and allows users to share locations, photos and contacts free of charge as well as send free SMS style text messages.
Also included in the update is an upgrade to the existing iPhone 4 camera which increases the speed it takes to capture a picture by using a two touch function on the main home button for instant access even when the phone is locked, no more needing to enter a security code.
Other new features of note include a photo editing suite which acts very much like a mobile Photoshop for cropping, rotating and removing red-eye from pictures, there also the new iTunes Match included free which syncs and stores all of the users music.
The process of upgrading the iPhone 4 with the new iOS5 software is fairly uncomplicated although not quite as easy as an Android update:
Open iTunes software and click 'Check for Updates' in the Menu, you're looking for iTunes 10.5
The user should then plug in their iPhone at which point they will be prompted to download iOS5
Upon clicking 'Download and Update' the user simply needs to follow the on-screen prompts.
Once downloaded, set up an iCloud account and enable the locations services.
Although some of the new features found in the latest iPhone 4S are not included in the update such as the new 'Siri' voice recognition software, users of the iPhone 4 can now enjoy many of the new features in the new phone without having to invest in Apple's latest product.

when new iphone

Apple may be taking most of the recent mobile industry headlines with their recently released iPhone 4S but at the same time there has been an 8GB edition of the original iPhone 4 introduced to the market that has literally slipped underneath the radar.
The new addition to the iPhone 4 portfolio joins the 16GB and 32GB models with its new, smaller 8GB memory but aside from this difference it is exactly the same phone with all of the same great features and technology packed into the same iconic casing.

There are two main benefits for choosing the new iPhone 4 8GB edition over both the larger memory versions as well as the new iPhone 4S, the first is price, this new iPhone is significantly cheaper than any of the other available models and all that the consumer really loses out on is memory.
The second is that the expectation of the release of a new iPhone 5 which turned out to be the new iPhone 4S has many consumers a little disappointed, this is because the new 4S is offered in exactly the same casing as the entire iPhone 4 range.
This means that even the new iPhone 8GB looks exactly the same as the high specification 4S model and unless the phone is seen in action other would not know which model the user has.
These two plus points for the new 8GB edition iPhone are drawing many consumers to buying the new Apple iPhone 4 8GB as well as those currently using the older 3GS model to upgrade to the new format.
Sales of the iPhone 4 in all of its memory formats jumped significantly on the announcement of the new 4S partly down to the obvious hype surrounding Apple at the time but also due to the deals for these older fourth generation phones being heavily discounted by mobile phone retailers in order to make room for stocks of the new model.
It looks to be a very wise move by Apple to release this less expensive 8GB iPhone 4 at a time when money is tight for many families, the smaller memory will not worry those who do not store thousands of music tracks and apps and when the new iOS5 upgrade is released these users will be able to store remotely to the iCloud service which will free up extra memory.
Also, many consumers who have not considered buying Apple before because of the large price tag demanded for their products are now finding that the new iPhone 4 8GB is falling within their budget with a free phone offered for as little as £25 per month line rental.

new iphone 4 apps

With all the new Verizon customers that will likely buy their own iPhones soon, I'm sure you will be seeing this kind of article more often. There are so many app choices and so many app reviews. How does one decide what to put on their phone?
As the owner of an iPhone for the past 4 years, I can tell you that you will constantly change your "go-to" app on a weekly, if not daily basis. It's part of the fun. (iPhun?) But the recommendations below are what I keep on my iPhone all the time. I like knowing they are there, even if I don't use them all the time. These are in no particular order, but all are absolutely free!

  • The Weather Channel: Too easy. Quick, local info. Too bad they recently lost the road cameras, but maybe we will get that back in the future.
  • Dictionary: The searches on this app are a breeze. The developers have done a nice job making this app faster with each new update. Now with voice recognition, it takes no time to find the right word. Thesaurus is there too!
  • iTalk: I like this app better that Apple's, "Voice Memos." It has great quality and you can move your recordings to your PC or Mac through the air! (Over a wi-fi network, anyway.)
  • FlashLight4G: Simple. Gives you the flash light from the back of the phone when you need it. Extremely useful. I keep it on my home page because I can't tell you how often I've needed a little light.
  • Key Ring: For those people who have a thousand login names and want to make sure each account has a unique password, this free app works just fine. It's a simple data base with a very intuitive interface. The data is stored in encrypted form and protected by a master password.
  • AppShopper: Imagine the App Store on steroids. That's AppShopper. You have quick access to reviews, price changes, wish lists and more. Sometimes it's easier to find what you need through this app.
These apps are useful and they are free. You can't go wrong trying them out.

new iphone coming out

Massive volumes of Apple's iPhone owners are resorting to iPhone insurance fraud so as to have their older iPhone device upgraded to the very hottest device, even if it means risking a criminal record to achieve this, by making completely false claims in their insurance claim.
Specialist iPhone insurance provider in the United kingdom, iPhone Insurance Cover's Administration team, said claims for iPhone's hugely spiked by over 45% around the time of the new 3G-S models. Similar patterns were seen last year, when Apple launched the then new iPhone 3G model.
A new iPhone insurance fraud report shows that close to 4 out of 10 claims created during this time are most likely false, with many individuals actively and deliberately breaking their iPhone so they can make a claim and hopefully get the new model.

It is possible that the trend by the UK's network providers to deliver longer contract times such as 18 and 24 month contracts is to partly exacerbating the problem. "A couple of years ago a consumer could replace their mobile phone at least every 12 months, currently, clients have to retain them almost twice as long before upgrading, this is not usually appropriate for the major fans of the iPhone, with new versions coming out every 8 to 12 months, perhaps the networks need to offer more12 month agreements again".
Karmi Corrine of Supercover, claimed: "Whilst most consumers take out insurance cover simply because they value their iPhone, we began to discover boosts in fake claims as new apple iPhone versions were launched, the volumes of claims close to the launch of the iPhone 3G-S was just staggering". We have often observed quick periods close to new model and upgrade launches, that claims go through the roof, but the fraud at the latest launch of the iPhone 3G-S was simply extraordinary. "The issue looks to be that many iPhone owners can only go for so long realizing that they're a new release behind the latest must-have spec before they resort to extreme steps.
iPhone owners are far more likely to order iPhone insurance than owners of other types of mobile phone - Being covered with mobile phone insurance is 60% higher among iPhone owners.
As part of efforts to stop insurance fraud Supercover no longer offer loss cover as part of its insurance. This change was because of the huge variety and scale of the fraudulent insurance claim issue.
Supercover insurance, who insist claimants send in their broken mobile phones as proof of damage, said in numerous cases it was very simple to see claims were not actually genuine.
As an example, many claims reported the iPhone as being dropped out of the pocket - but were being received as a bag of completely smashed up parts, that could only have finished up in this state after being repeatedly hit with a hammer.
In fact, many claim reports came back from the Lab having been proven to be found with imprint marks from hammers and stiletto heels!
Another example - the claimant stated their iPhone was dropped down the toilet. However, laboratory tests found the iPhone had been left to soak in battery acid for around Twenty-four hours, before getting flushed with water.
While it might be great to have the latest iPhone model it is not really worth a prison sentence or criminal record. Supercover sends all suspicious claim details to the Police who take this insurance fraud seriously.
So it is a good idea to fully understand your iphone insurance policy cover protection without risking a criminal record.

new iphone hd

The feature studded iPhone 4S has been launched by Apple to offer users enriching set of functionalities. Apart from scaling up the processor to A5 dual core and rear camera to an 8 MP the talk of the town is the scaled up HD video recording. The end users will be able to record movies in high resolution mode in 1080 pixels. However, in order to convert the captured videos to movies the users will need to download the iMovie app from the App Store. The app allows users in adding thump to the created video such as adding effects or custom music too. The created HD movies can then be uploaded to YouTube or shared with friends in real time without any constraints at all.

To Apple's advantage none of the competing Android or Blackberry models support the feature of recording movies in HD mode at such high resolution base. The end users will cherish the ability of focusing in background or foreground with equal depth. As a result, the users will be able to transform their fond memories into most memorable ones using the iPhone 4S platform. Apple loyalists have been anticipating for the high end iPhone variant eagerly. A newer design might have boosted Apple's sales but no one is taking away the scaled up features on the iPhone 's new variant. The HD quality movies on new iPhone 4S are here to entice you. So get going and look to leverage from it without any second thoughts.
The users who were planning to buy a handy cam on this thanksgiving will probably be better off buying an iPhone 4S. The digital camera makers such as Nikkon, Sony and Samsung are already under the reeling pressure from the threat imposed by iPhone. The scaled up 1080 pixels will aide users in recording videos and moving pictures with sheer impact.
Apple boasts that users will be able to capture bright and picture perfect videos with their new iPhone using the intrinsic 1090 pixels HD recording accompanied with LED flash. The maker has embedded stronger power LED flash on rear that can help users in capturing clear, sharper and brighter pictures even when the surrounding light is dim. In order to enable the LED flash light in video recording mode the users will be required to install third party LED apps. These can enable it to function like a flashlight on the fly.
There is no match of the HD video captures on Apple when compared with Android or other gadgets. The users of iPhone 4 have already experienced the 720 pixels HD video recording and the higher resolution base will offer streamlined usability experience to the end users. The scaled up HD recording will certainly offer to users who often record videos on their phones. Media folks and photographers are looking firmly on the HD recording capabilities of iPhone 4S. However, only the actual user reviews and recorded video quality will help users in knowing if it's really worth it.

new iphone firmware

With the release of Apple's revolutionary iPhone in Japan still a way off, it is useful to look at the latest developments that may influence how the iPhone will fare in Japan.
One must-have for the USA market is of course Bluetooth support, as these wireless earphone and microphone combinations are an essential part of any mobile warrior's gear. However, in Japan these devices are rarely if ever seen; indeed, a recent survey conducted by the online polling organisation Cross Marketing Inc into Bluetooth usage showed that just over a third had more than just a passing knowledge of the name, and indeed over two in five hadn't even heard of it. Looking into the numbers in more detail, it was revealed that only one person from the original sample of 300 people actually owned a Bluetooth wireless earpiece! Therefore, if Apple are looking for space to fit the essential 3G support for their iPhone in Japan, then ditching the Bluetooth circuitry is a no-brainer.

In nearby South Korea, also waiting for Apple's iPhone, in a recent survey of 590 South Korean CEOs conducted by the Samsung Ecomonic Research Institute, they chose from amongst the list of devices included in Time Magazine's "Inventions of 2007" report Apple's iPhone as the most inspirational device, indicating that in South Korea, as in Japan, there is a great deal of expections for this device. Having said that, the rest of the Time Magazine inventions were rather samey, with the only other device catching my eye being a lightweight remote-control FlyTech Dragonfly ornithopter.
With a new verion of the iPhone firmware comes a new version of the Jailbreak software that frees the iPhone from the tether to AT&T as the carrier. According to various analyses of Apple's financial performance, perhaps as many as 20% of all iPhones are used on unauthorised networks. But what of Japan? Apart from the fact that there is less of a culture for this sort of thing, Japan's mobile phones are not interchangable between networks, so jailbreaking a phone does not enable one to pick and choose carriers. If the eventual carrier of the iPhone puts a premium on a contract, it may be possible to jailbreak and use a SIM card tied to a cheaper contract with the same carrier. However, the overall prospect for Apple's iPhone in Japan is that basically almost all iPhones will be used according to Apple wishes.
Finally, two new colours for the iPhone have been annouced, namely pink and purple, both targeted at the fashion-conscious female market segment, but unfortunately these are not official paint jobs, but promotional third-party models. However, for Apple's iPhone in Japan, such colour schemes are a necessity as addressing the young female market (who often live at home so have money to burn on fashion accessories) is one of the keys to success in the Japan cellphone marketplace

new iphone announcement

For the past fifteen months Apple users, bloggers and media outposts have been speculating what the newest iPhone release would deliver. On October 5, 2011 Apple announced that the new model iPhone would carry the surname 4S and would boast a new voice recognition software along with double the processing capability. While the announcement was less than energetically accepted at the time of its release, most consultants and forecasters alike are calling this release the most strategic move by the Apple corporation since the inception of the iPhone.

Following the announcement to release the iPhone 4S instead of the iPhone 5, blogs and news articles alike began to buzz about the lack of major changes in the new model iPhone. Most customers said that they were expecting a sleeker and thinner new device with a larger screen and a high-definition 8 megapixel camera. The actual device instead is equipped with the same external appearance as its predecessor, simply adding double the processor speed to prepare itself for the voice recognition software platform of the iOS 5.0.
Upon announcing the lack of major improvements, Apple's stock price shed nearly 5% on Friday due to uncertainty in the company with a lackluster acceptance of the new device along with the death of the long time CEO Steve Jobs. Following a weekend of further inquiry and investigation, it appears that Apple may have indeed released its most strategic product to date.
It is a fact that most current iPhone 4 users (70 million to be exact) are currently locked in a 2 year contract with their wireless provider. Those that are not, likely paid a premium for the device at some point in the past year. On the other hand, current 3G and 3GS users have been long awaiting a new product release as Apple has cleverly increased the processor load on the current operating systems, slowing the devices to a halt hence making the previous generation devices obsolete. The current number of 3G, 3GS and non iPhone smartphone users worldwide is estimated to be closer to the tune of one billion users. With this knowledge at hand, those desperate for a new model iPhone regardless of major changes far outweighs the group of individuals who likely could not upgrade even if they found the new device revolutionary.
While most are still clearly upset at the lack of a major makeover in the device, Apple may clearly have the upper hand in being able to release a revamped model when most are least expecting it. This is clearly the Apple way. With over one million devices pre-ordered in the first weekend, it seems Apple did not miss a beat in their forecast of the outcome of this product release.

transfer apps to new iphone

If someone you know also has an iPhone, you may want to trade for certain applications the have. Instead of buying these often expensive apps, you can simply transfer an application from one iPhone to the other. Using iTunes and a few quick and easy steps, you too can transfer applications to your computer and then to another iPhone.
The process for transferring apps from your iPhone to another iPhone is very simple. The ability to transfer apps allows you to copy apps to your wife's, child's or friend's iPhone so that they can use the applications without having to pay for them. This process involves transferring the apps from your iPhone to a computer and then from the computer to the target iPhone.

To transfer the apps from your iPhone to computer, open up iTunes library. The iTunes library The library from the target iPhone should be the one that is being opened. If you use the iTunes that belongs to your PC or Mac, it will produce error. To authorize iTunes to access your account information, you should select Store > Authorize Computer. When the Authorize Computer dialog box appears, enter your Apple ID and password. If you have authorized more than five computers, it will notify you. To deauthorize a computer, go to iTunes and select Store > Deauthorize Computer. After that, connect the iPhone which contain the licensed apps to the iTunes. Next, right click on the iPhone icon in iTunes and select Transfer Purchases. The iPhone informs you that the transfer is in progress by showing the message "Sync in Progress". new iphone pictures

The iPhone 4S has now been unveiled, and offers many new features for an enhanced user experience. Much of the Apple of this device, and indeed the iPhone series as a whole. The camera has been upgraded significantly, and in this article I look at the camera on the iPhone 4S in a bit more detail.

For starters, the camera has been upgraded to 8 megapixels, which is some 3 megapixels more than the iPhone 4. With its resolution of 3264x 2448, the resulting images are of superb quality. The quality of the photos is enhanced further by the new f/2.4 aperture lens which means that the camera really comes into its own in low lighting conditions, capturing 75% more light than the camera on the iPhone 4. There is of course also a flash, along with a number of adjustable settings and image enhancing features. While there is much to talk about the new and improved camera on the iPhone the features to go with it include the retina display and editing studio provided to further enhance pictures. The editing software is simple enough to use, and offers a good array of effects and options which can be edited.
Apple has also focused on the sharpness of images with the new aperture lens and the retina display further accelerates the display quality. The credit of the DSLR-like results goes to the A5 chip provided with an image signal processor. The camera uses the advanced algorithms to control the accuracy and balance of the pictures.
Whilst all of these features may sound good on paper, one of the most appealing aspects of the camera is that it remains simple to use. Simply open the camera app, and you are instantly presented with the camera screen; this has shortcuts to adjustable features like settings and flash, and the ability to switch between still images and video capture. Taking the picture is as simple as tapping the capture screen, which responds instantly.
The iPhone 4S also provides the HDR photo shoot with the new camera. It takes three photos from one shot providing different exposure levels and combines the best part from each picture to provide the ultimate snapshot. The LED flash kicks into action as required, working behind the scenes, although it can also be turned on or off manually to achieve the desired effect. The camera can also detect prominent faces in a picture and balances the exposure accordingly. In fact, up to ten faces can be detected, and it will zoom to the most appropriate setting to achieve the best overall result.
With all said and done the iPhone 4S provides a comprehensive package. With the addition of photo streaming and sharing via iCloud, the iPhone 4S has made leaps and bounds over its predecessor, and looks like it is paving the way for the new generation of camera phones.

new iphone jailbreak

Many people hear about jailbreaking an iPhone 4 and wonder what the benefits would be of doing so. The first thought that often pops in to their mind is, "Well, I could use my iPhone 4 on other networks besides AT&T." While many do have other providers for their phone many of their iPhone 4s are not jailbroken. They are simply unlocked. So what does it mean to jailbreak an iPhone 4?
It means that an iPhone 4 user can get different apps than what are available in the App Store and further customize their iPhone. The main advantage to jailbreaking an iPhone 4 is the ability to turn it into a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Originally there were very different reasons for jailbreaking an iPhone. Before, jailbreaking would allow iPhone users to zoom in on pictures, customize the iPhone's background, and upload video to YouTube. With the new iOS 4 and the iPhone 4 these options are now available to any iPhone 4 user. It is highly possible that what was being done on jailbroken iPhones had an enormous impact on what Apple put standard in to their new products. So, what are the major advantages of doing it now?

The biggest news currently in jailbreaking is the ability to turn an iPhone 4 in to a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Although it does cost money there is an app called MiWi 4.0. This app allows for up to four devices to be connected to Wi-Fi through your iPhone 4. Reviews have found that download speeds were somewhere around 3300 Kbps and uploads were around 340 Kbps.
Another great app for a jailbroken phone is the My3G. This is an app that actually lets people use FaceTime the way many envisioned when Apple announced it would be available with the iPhone 4. My3G allows users are able to use FaceTime over a 3G connection instead of needing to be tied to a Wi-Fi network. So no matter where someone is, if they have 3G, they can make FaceTime calls. This application for the jailbroken iPhone 4 also allows for downloading TV shows and podcast from iTunes as well as watching HD videos on YouTube. Features you had hoped would be available from Apple, right?
Jailbreaking an iPhone 4 also allows for more customization. On the lock screen you can put all the information you would like to see without sliding to unlock your phone. This can include if you have any new emails, the calls you might have missed, or the current weather at your location. The header is even customizable with a jailbroken phone giving you options on how your iPhone 4 should be personalized. Finally, all the apps that Apple deems unacceptable for their App Store are available with a jailbroken iPhone 4. There is no limit to what is available and what can be created on a jailbroken phone.
So, there are many reasons why a person should consider jailbreaking their phone. Of course any changes made to an iPhone 4 will void the warranty but if that is OK with you, or you are a product tester and got your iPhone 4 for free anyway, then give jailbreaking a try. It will open up the iPhone 4 to all new apps and possibilities that are not available to the average iPhone user.

new iphone update 4.3

To update any Apple product, you must have the most up to date version of Apple iTunes. Currently that version is 10.1.2. To double check your iTunes version and/or install the newest iTunes version, go to iTunes on your computer and click "Check for Updates." You can also go directly to Apple for the latest update.
NOTE: If you haven't backed up your iPad, it might be wise to do it before installing the new iOS 4.3.
After you have updated iTunes to the most recent version, follow the instructions below to update your iPad to iOS 4.3.

Normal Update Procedures:
1) Open iTunes
2) Connect your iPad to you computer
3) Select your iPad in the Source List.
4) Click "Check for Updates" on the right hand panel.
5) A pop up box will appear. Click "Download and Update"
6) Follow the instructions on the screen.
7) Updating takes anywhere from 10-45 minutes depending on your download speed. The file size for iOS 4.3 is just under 600 mega bytes.
Update Troubleshooting
For PC users: If you are having trouble downloading and installing the operating system on your iPad, many times that is due to your computer's anti-virus or firewall software. Disable your anti-virus and firewall software and restart iTunes before trying to update your iPad again.
Manually updating your iPad
I generally love Apple products but the most annoying thing as a techie is the limitations one has in using and customizing the Apple OS. For some strange reason I can never update my iPad normally simply going through iTunes. I get an error right at the end of the download. I even shut down my firewall and anti-virus software and still the problem exists. The glitch I always get is at the end of the file when I have update 596.9MB of 596.9MB, I get an error message stat err=-3259. I know it's not my internet connection since I have a fiber optics internet connection at home, and every download I ever do goes just fine. So for those of you frustrated with Apple's update through iTunes, here is a tutorial on manually installing the software yourself.
1) Download the iOS 4.3 IPSW file you're the iPad. The direct download link from Apple is here.
2) Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad using the USB cable.
3) Depending on whether you run Windows or have a MAC, follow.
a. Mac - Hold the Option key and then click on the "Check for Update/Update" button.
b. Windows PC - Hold the Shift key and then click on the "Check for Update/Update" button.
4) A Dialog screen will appear prompting you for the location of the IPSW file you downloaded. Find the file in the file browser and select the IPSW file.
5) iTunes will now use the iPSW file and update your iPad to iOS 4.3. This will take approximately 10 minutes.

new iphone problems

Do you have an iPhone problem and need solutions. Well when you purchased your Otterbox iPhone case, you were all excited about the fact you were finally going to be able to protect and keep your iPhone looking brand new. The Otterbox will definatly do a great job of protecting your device and looks pretty good too. Except when you put the phone in the case and pressed the screen you had this HORRIBLE water-mark effect.

If you were like me, I was so disgusted and I wanted to just throw the case in the trash. Well I have a solution..."baby powder". Take the iphone out of the Otterbox and put a puff of powder on the screen of the Otterbox. Now blow the excess off and put the iPhone back into the case......Bam no more irritating mark on the screen. You can also either remove the plastic cover with an exacto knife or get an anti-glare screen protector. Either one you do will eliminate the watermark effect that has been aggravating you.
Another iPhone problem that you may have encountered and of course need a solution with your Otterbox, is your callers complaining about an aggravating echo when they talk to you. Well I have a solution for that too. Take your iPhone out of the case and remove the paper or gray foam pieces from the 2 speaker holes on each side of the charging port, this will eliminate the echo effect your callers have been complaining about. The newer versions of the Otterbox has had them removed from the factory. Now people will start wanting to call and talk again.

It contains almost all the advanced features that one can expect from a new generation smart phone. People are excited to know what is new with the launch of this high end device. new software for iphone

A SIM free white iPhone 4 will soon be available on the high street. The new design has brought about major hardware improvements including a faster, more efficient processor, better stills camera, high-definition video recording and better battery life. We take a look at the new software that Apple has introduced to complement this new hardware.
iPhone and iBooks
In a similar move that Apple made with the iPad, the iPhone will feature a version of iBooks complete with PDF and annotations support. The iBook application will be able to synchronize between Apple devices, so you could start reading a book on an iPad and then continue reading at the same point on your smartphone. Users will have the ability to download purchased books to all of their supported devices without any additional charge.

iPhone OS 4 (iOS 4)
Apple's mobile device operating system is now officially called "iOS 4". The new software will be standard on the SIM free white iPhone 4 and will be available for the iPhone 3GS, 3G and iPod touch, although some limitations may be applied depending on the hardware in question. The main feature is that it will finally introduce the much needed multitasking support with app switching being carried out by double clicking home button. Another long-awaited feature that has been available on rivals such as the HTC Desire and Sony Xperia X10 is the use of a folder structure for the storage and organisation of apps and documents. It will also include support for Apple Bluetooth external keyboards, a Mail inbox supporting multiple services, a game center, improved support for Microsoft Exchange and enterprise users as well as introducing the iAd mobile advertising network
FaceTime video calling also makes a debut with the iPhone 4. The feature will at first be Wi-Fi only with a possible 3G capability coming in the future and can only be used between iPhone 4 smartphones, although it may be extended to other platforms in the future. As well as using the front facing camera, users will be able to use the rear-mounted 5MP camera to let callers see what they're seeing.
White iPhone 4 availability
Initially available in the United States, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK, the new iPhone will become available throughout the world during the remainder of 2010 and early 2011. The SIM free white iPhone 4 is available with either 16GB or 32GB capacities. A black version is also now available.
You can now get a free iPhone 16GB from our friends at myfreeiphone.net. The most technologically advanced cell phone ever released can now be yours for nothing. In addition to the black version, you can also get a free white iPhone in either of the two available capacities. Thanks for reading our review.

new iphone leaked

We are just days left from Apple's 2009 WWDC, which is anticipated to announce the latest iPhone, however commenting the rumors about what Phil Schiller may be bringing on stage was necessary.
The writing on the back of this lusterless device appears silver, along with looks more like an engraving in metal than paint on plastic. The subsequent generation iPhone moreover loses the chrome ring around the camera.
Added rumors have circulated lately regarding a glowing Apple symbol on the back of the latest iPhone; on the other hand this is implausible considering battery life constraints. What looks cool on the back of a notebook computer does not essentially make sense on a previously battery-starved mobile device.

On the other hand the headphone socket does not appear to be on the bottom of the iPhone video, as shown in the last set of leaked photos, which suggests that anywhere along the line there are several fakes. According to Nowhere Else, a source at Orange France suggests that the new iPhone will come in 8, 16 and 32GB capacities along with in both white and black finishes, will be 3mm smaller and launch on February 9th in France.
The device pictured definitely seems to tick all of the apparent boxes tipped by pre-launch rumors. There's the latest chassis, new chrome-free finish along with second slot believed to be for a front-facing camera on the top of the fascia.
It's promising the backlight for the LED screen could be used to shine in the course of the back of the case, conversely this would necessitate the rearrangement of opaque hardware on the motherboard in involving the backlight and the glowing Apple logo.
The matte finish looks like it may provide better grip, whether metal otherwise plastic, and hide scratches better than the present shiny finish.
Expectantly, Apple has figured out a way to prevent the notorious hairline cracks that users have reported on white plastic iPhone 3G enclosures.

gizmodo new iphone

A larger battery than iPhone 3GS, lots of screws and key components safely encased in metal coverings are the things that Gizmodo found during their postmortem of the next generation iPhone.
Before returning it to Apple, the Gizmodo team just had to find out what was inside. But they were largely disappointed as the processor of the device was carefully covered with metal casing which could only be opened by permanently damaging it. They also couldn't verify how much RAM was in there for same reason as the processor.
What they found though, was a battery 19% larger than the previous Phone, around 40-50 screws and most importantly, several areas of the phone where Apple is clearly written. Most of the internal components were also significantly smaller in size to accommodate the larger battery.

All this comes after the controversy which has taken the Telecom world by storm. It all began a week ago when a next generation iPhone was found in a niht club. Since then reports had been coming that this was indeed the new iPhone 4G.
Meanwhile Apple had remained mysteriously quite. But even they had to come out with an official letter when the technology blog Gizmodo came up with a detailed review on the next generation iPhone.
Apple eventually asked Gizmodo to return their device officially. This might well be one of those marketing and hype generation tactics just to get the masses involved in the soon to be launched advertising campaign. No matter what the reality was Gizmodo got it's share of limelight during this controversial event.
